Find a partner to work with. Together use the online resources in the Information Station http://www.wicked.org.nz/r/wick_ed/info_station/index.php to help you find your answers.
- What is a song?
- If you were a composer, what would you be?
- What are the words to a song called?
- What part of a song tells the story?
- What part of a song is repeated to tell you the main idea?
- The hook in a song is the catchiest part. Where might this be found in a song?

Write a review to show what you know about a New Zealand singer or a band
These questions will help you write your review. Use sentences and paragraphs when you write your ideas:
- Who is the singer or the band?
- Which culture do they represent?
- What special characteristics do they have?
- What genre of music do they perform?
- What story does their music tell?
- Do you like their music? Why?
- Would you recommend their music to your friends? Why? Why not?
